Mike Frazier

President & CEO

Mike is the managing partner for Bedell Frazier. He manages client portfolios, oversees investment strategies and runs the company. Mike has 3 decades of industry experience in the investment and media industries. He earned his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994 where he majored in History and played rugby. He returned to UC Berkeley in 2002 to study Security Analysis, Modern Portfolio Theory, and Financial Planning in the evening extension program.

Mike began his professional career in television production with CNN & Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta. He entered the investment business in 1998. Mike joined Bedell in 2002 and became a partner in 2004. The company became Bedell Frazier in 2011.

Mike recently wrote a book, “Investing from A to Z”. He is the author of a weekly blog called the TGIF report. Mike has been published in Newsweek and quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Barron’s, Reuters, Bloomberg and NPR, as well as a financial market contributor on Bloomberg’s Bay Area radio affiliate and Diablo Valley’s KKDV.

He’s an active supporter of the Children’s Health Guild, the George Mark Children’s House, and Save Mt. Diablo. Mike has been coaching youth softball and soccer in the Bay Area for years. Mike and his wife Shelley are the proud parents of three daughters; Samantha, Nikki, and Brooke.
