People are addicted to their phones
TikTok is back on the chopping block
And the Jersey skies are filled with drones
Oppenheimer took the Oscar
Inside Out was the box office smash
100 Billion hours were watched on Netflix
Hollywood craves all that cash
The Niners blew another Super Bowl
Kansas City got more rings
The Dodgers are world champs again
While the A’s leaving Oakland still stings
We lost Willie Mays and Fernando, Jerry West and Pete Rose
Newhart made us laugh, James Earl Jones; Peerless with prose
Dr. Ruth dropped the mic, Apollo Creed left the ring
Donahue knew how to talk, Toby Keith sure could sing
The American spirit is peerless, time-tested and true
With perseverance and sound leadership, there’s nothing we can’t do
With crisis brings opportunity, history has shown
Success through ingenuity, it’s the fabric of our home

Now, Independents and others!
Our nation requires collaboration!
